Who are Scouts?
Scout troops are made up of young people aged 10½ to 14. Our Scouts spend their time learning new skills and mastering old ones. They have plenty of fun and go on lots of adventures with opportunities to travel at home and abroad.
Our Scouts like to make a difference, both locally and globally.

What do Scouts get up to?
Scouts get to discover the world and try new things that are not available at home or through school.
Our Scouts, like so many others, are concerned about environmental issues, but they learn to stand up for what they believe in and take time to learn about the environment and how to tackle issues such as pollution and climate change.
Exploring the great outdoors
We have a strong outdoor and camping programme that runs throughout the year, enabling Scouts to work on their outdoor challenges and world challenges, with some Scouts achieving their Gold Scout award – the highest award a scout can achieve!
Learning new skills
Scouts learn to turn their hands to many new skills and build the confidence required to look at the big picture and know that they can stand up and make a difference.
Our Scouts strengthen their skills and characters and are ready to take on all challenges that come their way.
Helping others
Our Scouts are proud to be a part of our local community and get involved with many activities and causes.
Several of our Scouts develop their leadership skills by helping new members to work towards badges and by helping to run Beaver colonies and Cub packs.
